One of the first companies to announce an entire Froyo dedicated series is LG. On Monday they announced their plans for the Optimus series, a series of phones that will all come running on Android 2.2.

Optimus will have a total of 10 phones spanning both high-end and entry-level sets. Details of three Optimus phones have been revealed:

Optimus One: This will be one of the initial Optimus sets to be launched. It will be a high-end phone with OMAP3630 processor, 3.8-inch display, HD camera, HDMI/DNLA support, and of course Android 2.2.

Optimus Chic: This set will be an entry-level smartphone. It will feature a stylish design, as you can guess from the name “Chic.”

Tablet: The Optimus series will also have a tablet. LG says this tablet will be thing, light, and offer superiority over its competing tablets.

Not surprisingly, user friendliness and fast response time were high on consumers’ lists.

The two android-powered smartphones in the pipeline — LG Optimus One with Google™ and LG Optimus Chic — incorporate the speedy Android Platform 2.2 (Froyo).

A month ago, an entry was found on eBay, featuring a semi-working iPod Touch equipped with a camera. A new leak confirms the camera part.

Recently a user of Tinhte, a Vietnamese online forum, posted pictures of an iPod Touch with a 2 megapixel camera. The camera was located at the back of the device, like in iPhone devices.

Studying the stamps in the photos of the leaked prototype, it seems that the device is a 64GB sample of the new iPod Touch with the same exterior as of the last generation iPod. A video indicates that the device worked seamlessly with iTunes.

There is a dock connector and 3.5mm jack on the bottom, volume controls on the left side, and sleep button on the top; all these are the same as the eBay ‘leak’ and give legitimacy to the device.

However another stamp on the phone in the images indicates the phone is an early design prototype. This brings back the mystery. The finalized product may or may not look like this at all.

Notifications is a messenger for Facebook. It notifies the user if there any updates to be checked on their Facebook account.

That is how Notifications looks like while running. The first four tabs include information from the user’s profile page; the last tab is the one opened by default and displays notifications, if any, of updates on your Facebook page.

Notifications also has a transparent floating window which you can place anywhere on your desktop.

You can enable or disable this window to appear; you can also adjust its transparency levels.
