Enjoy Watch Fifa 2010 World Cup On Cell Phones
The world calls it football, but in Canada and US the sport is known as soccer. The world’s most popular sport in the world is not as popular in the State and its neighbor as it deserves to be. But this World Cup, two major wireless carriers are planning to bring soccer to the hands of every cellphone owner in these two countries.
Sprint in the US and Rogers in Canada have announced that their subscribers will be able to view the Football World Cup 2010 on their smartphones.
Sprint has signed a deal with ESPN to make available 56 matches out of the total 64 that will occur in the tournament. These matches will be made available through ESPN Mobile TV. Sprint will broadcast these matches as part of Sprint TV and will be free for people with the data plan of type “Everything Data.”

Up North in Canada, Rogers will enable its “Rogers on Demand” subscribers to view all the World Cup 2010 matches with a monthly cost of $5 and an additional one-time fee of $10. Rogers will be providing this service to Android, BlackBerry, and iPhone smartphone owners.
All this is undoubtedly great news for all soccer fans in North America.
