Android Smart Phones Outsold iPhone In Q1 2010
In a press release today it is been revealed by NPD that Android has actually outsold iPhone in the first quarter of the year in US mobile market. First quarter 2010 information from The NPD Group’s Mobile Phone Track reveals a shift in the smartphone market, as Android OS edged out Apple’s OS for the number-two position behind RIM. According to their published results RIM smart phone sale share is 31% followed by Android share with 28% whereas Apple smart phone sales share is accounted for 21%.
