Unlock iPhone 3G and 3GS 3.1.3 Firmware with Ultrasnow
Good news for all the iPhone users who want to unlock their iPhone with the latest firmware 3.1.3 using Ultrasnow 0.92. First of all, they can use Snowbreeze 3.1.3 to jailbreak their iPhone with old boot rom and also preserves the iPhone baseband. To jailbreak using Snowbreeze, follow the guide here. After jailbreaking, you can use Ultrasnow 0.92 to unlock iPhone 3G and 3GS running firmware 3.1.3.
1. Jailbreak your iPhone 3G or 3GS using this guide.
2. Now, Start Cydia and touch Sources under the Manage tab.
3. Now, touch Edit and Add, “http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com” and touch Add Source.
4. Now, find and install Ultrasnow in Cydia and it will automatically unlock your iPhone.
5. Restart your phone and you are done.

When you try to run any of these files on any windows pc, they simply dont work, keeps giving an error that the file is not win32 compatible or some such thing!
I’ve tried xp, vista and windows 7. Acutally I run ubuntu on my laptop and there is nothing for open source software to unlock iphone which is annoying.
Please suggest how to launch the files in some way when downloaded that will actually work. Spent a whole evening downloading all the necessary files, itunes, original firmware for iphone and then the snow file but nothing launches? Why is that?
