For a computer user, resizing digital images is a common task. Often you need to scale down your images to follow a forum’s regulations, a social network’s requirements, to create icon images for folders, to make avatars, or just to reduce the size of the image to make it easier to upload.

The program we cover today automates the image resizing for the computer user making life much easier. Say hello to the small yet powerful Dropresize.

The entire program is merely a ~18 KB archive to download; extract the contents and simply run the executable file. Here’s what the program looks like:

The first step to do is copy all your images into a new folder. Now give Dropresize the path to this new folder. Specify the dimensions of your image, and click Apply/OK. All your images will be batch-converted into the dimensions your specified.

This free, wonderfully user-friendly application makes batch-resizing images a breeze even for the novice computer users. It truly deserves two thumbs up!
