How to Allot time limits to your Child’s Computer Usage
If you have a computer and a youngster, both at your house, chances are you will see them together most of the time. Whilst the computer is a powerful learning tool, youngsters rarely spend their computer time learning things. Social networking and chatting really takes a huge chunk out a child’s schedule and does not let him/her enjoy the outside as much as it is supposed to be enjoyed.
One way to tackle the problem is to limit your child’s computer time. But suppose you cannot monitor your child’s activities every hour of every day. What do then?
The answer is simple: Romaco Timeout, a freeware that can allot time limits to your child’s computer usage.
*Before downloading, make sure that you have got Dot Net Framework 3.5 installed.
The download file is mere ~600 KB large and installs instantly. If any prerequisites are missing, such as the Dot Net Framework, you are prompted with its official URL and prompted to install it.
When you have got it up and running, you are required to enter a password and reenter for confirmation. This password means that only you can modify the settings of the Romaco Timeout.
Here is how the program looks like:

You have two options to set the time by: either set an overall daily quota or set a per-session time limit, whatever you see fit.
Whichever option you choose, the best way to go would be to enable the ‘Startup Automatically’ option. This way the program starts the countdown from startup.
The final option is to specify the action that happens at the end of every session; you can either shut down or simply have your PC log off the current logged in user.
Romaco Timeout enables you to make cutbacks on the amount of time your children use on the internet. Resultantly they will spend their internet time more wisely. This little program works swimmingly and does its job very well.
