Record, Upload and Share Audio Clips online with Chirbit
Stumble it!I have just stumbled upon a very cool application online. I was puzzled about how I’d use Chirbit at first – but its applications dawned soon enought! Chirbit is a free online service that lets you record , upload and share audio snippets!
Consider it a web based microphone, thats you can turn on anytime wherever you are
Using the service is VERY simple, simply sign up (provide a username password and email) plug in a mic, webcam or have an mp3 ready, and away you go!
Although hard to understand at first It dawned on me that this could be the first sort of `Audio Blog’ available I then saw the various ways you could use it:
- MicroPodcasts (sort of like an Audio Tweet)
- Confessions
- Jokes
- Sound Effects
- Apologies
- Quotes
- Music
- Branching Fiction and so on!
Although some of the applications seem funny, the 1st sounds like it may be the next big thing out there, I guess time will tell. Just so you know you can also share your audio files online on your favorite social media network.
