Keep Your Favorite Application Always on Top with Deskpins
It always surprises me that how most people don’t realize that some of the more simpler software out there could make their computer usage so much more easier! One such software is DeskPins.
Basically what it does is bring a `pinned’ software into the front of all open windows you have. It’s like an `Always on Top’ feature even for software that don’t have it!
Its very useful when you want to have a software open in front of you at all times. An example of this is when I usually have a spread sheet/document (taxes, got to do them!) open and then I’ll just use a DeskPin on the windows calculator app. That way even If I select another window /document my calculator will always be in view.

With DeskPins whenever you need to pin an application on top just click the DeskPins icon from your system tray and it will turn into a pin then just place it on top of the software you need on top and thats it!
I’ve been using `pushpin’ like software since the Windows 95 days and DeskPins updates this simple function with much needed features not found in other `pushpin’ like apps, here are some of the cool funtions:
- Unlimited number of pins available.
- Intelligent handling of various application types.
- Powerful wildcard-based automatic pin support.
- Global hotkeys.
- Minimal system resources usage.
