Yahoo has just unleashed their new application which allows you to connect Yahoo Messenger on your iPhone or iPod touch. Just like the regular messenger it lets you send instant messages, emoticons and links. You can even share photos, change status (even to invisible) or add a custom status message.

- Recent conversations archives
- Additional settings which lets you change the sort order of your contact list, or to show or hide offline contacts in your list.
And at the top of everything The Yahoo! Messenger for the iPhone application is free and can be downloaded through the iTunes App Store or through the App Store on your iPhone or iPod Touch (search for Yahoo! Messenger).
