Real Time Search Engine for Twitter
OneRiot, the new face of what was known earlier this year as the social search service Me.dium. It is a real time search engine for web and video content. Recently they have launched a new search engine dedicated to Twitter. Instead of focusing on what people are saying, it stresses on the web pages people are linking to.

The company describes its purpose in the market quite well, saying, “Traditional search engines treat the Web like a library, often returning results from highly-referenced, dependable resources such as Wikipedia (Wikipedia reviews). While these results are undoubtedly authoritative, they do not necessarily reflect what people are talking about right now in relation to any particular topic.”
The service currently consists of a search field, an AddtoAny page sharing widget, a shortcut to add OneRiot to your personal list of engines aboard your browser’s search box, and even more white space.
This is how it works, if you search for “Nokia” in the search feild you will see the links that be shared on Twitter at that very moment. It’s a great way to get up-to-date news from all the globe and specially stuff that matters.
