Fujitsu To Launch Their First Color E-Book

Fujitsu is all set to launch their first color E-Book. The new Fujitsu FLEPia comes with a 8 inch screen that offers 260k colors and a touchscreen display. It features a 768×1014 resolution, supports Bluetooth along with Wi-Fi connectivity and a SD card slot.

  • Lightweight, thin and high-performance: 8-inch screen displays up to 260,000 colors in high-definition
  • Power-efficient color e-paper; enables up to 40-hour continuous battery operation
  • Feature-rich external interface
  • User-friendly operation: touch screen, digital stylus, scroll key, function buttons
  • Two e-book viewers included as standard features

For now it will run on Windows CE 5.0. It comes with two e-book viewers, the BunkoViewer for XMDF format and the T-Time for .book format.  The company claims that the E-Book will offer up to 40 hours of continoues operations when fully charged.
