Manage iPod data without having iTunes
Stumble it!I don’t own an iPod but I still need to access iTunes in order to get detailed information about a specific product I’m going to review. But for those of you who are not willing to download iTunes on their computer and still want to manage their data on an iPod need to check out SharePod.
It is a free iPod application that lets you extract music files to your hard drive. You have the option to create Winamp playlists fom the music on your iPod or simply listen to it without copying it on your computer.
A group of people who are on a network can also access these files from their own computer or simply download them directly from your iPod. It just works like a P2P program. SharePod can run straight from the iPod itself, so you can use it at work, school, home – wherever you and your iPod are.
Backup all those tracks you just can’t lose onto your computer. Import them automatically into your iTunes library and enjoy.
