Add Location to your Gmail Signature

Gmail never fails to impress me with its new and awesome features. Recently they have added a new feature that allows you to add your location to your signature. That means whenever you will send an email to anyone, they will be notified where you sent this message from.

To setup your account, simply log in to your Gmail account

  1. Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page.
  2. Enter your new signature text in the box at the bottom of the page next to the Signature option. As you type, the radio button will shift from No Signature to the text box.
  3. Click Save Changes.

The whole system is intelligent enough to determine your location using your IP address. You can always disable the option or delete your location from specific emails anytime you like.
