Create Printable Tests and Quizzes
Stumble it!Quiz Press is a Mac application that allows you to create printable tests and quizzes so that you distribute it easily over the web. Quizzes offers you to create 6 different question types including Multiple Choice, Fill in the Blanks, Short Answer, True or False, Essay, and Cloze.
To make things even more interesting, you even have the option to add video, images, music, sound or interactive content to really make the web testing experience stand out. You can copy and paste, drag and drop, or load these from many sources.
The recent version of Quiz Press 2.4 has been released with the following new improvements
- Added a “Don’t Report” reporting option. This hides the “Print” and/or “Email” buttons. Access this option in the “Reporting” tab of the “Quiz Settings”
- Added a “Timing” tab to the Quiz Settings. This provides facilities to time tests and report on elapsed time.
- Report Time Elapsed – Adds time elapsed to the quiz completion report.
- Display Time Elapsed/Remaing – This displays a timer visible to the test taker with the current time elapsed or remaning.
- Enforce Time Limit – This enforces a time limit on the tester. The test will automatically end after this limit.
- Give warning when x minutes are remaining – Allows teacher to give students a warning that their time is running out.
- Improved foreign language support – While this feature is by no means finished, advanced users can now edit a file called localization.xml to change the text of the web quiz’s user interface (menus, buttons etc.). This file is generated whenever you use “Make Quiz”.
- Now warns students if they leave the name field blank.
- Other minor changes.

It may not be a good idea to buy it right away so I’d recommend that you try out the trial version first. It will probably come in handy for anyone whose teaching at some school or university
