Take screenshots of Entire web page with Fireshot

I’m a full time blogger who browses the internet all day long. I come across tons of websites every now and then and while I review them I like to explain stuff by taking screenshots.
A good way to do that is by installing one of my favorite Firefox extension known as “FireShot”. Fireshot allows you to take screenshots of web pages like no other. This plugin provides a set of editing and annotation tools so that users can easily modify web captures and insert text and graphical annotations.
My purpose of using FireShot is that it allows me to either capture entire web page or take screenshot of only visible part of the web page. Once these pictures are captured they can be
- Uploaded to FREE public screenshot hosting
- Saved to disk (PNG, GIF, JPEG, BMP)
- Printed
- Copied to clipboard
- Emailed
- Sent to configurable external editor for further processing.
Right click on any web page, click Fireshot and Click “Capture entire page” or “Capture visible area” . You can then edit, upload, save, print, copy to clipboard and email the page to anyone right from your browser.

Another great feature is that you can always set a default tool button action for quick access. Just like I have chosen my shortcut key to copy the entire page’s screenshot to clipboard. Now I just have to use “CTRL + ALT + Z” to take my screenshots.

The ability to capture and save as a thumbnail at the same time is a great time saver.
