Print Photos using your iPhone and iPod Touch
HP has recently announced a free Photo Printing application that allows iPhone and iPod touch owners to easily print 4″ x 6″ photos wirelessly from their mobile devices to most HP inkjet printers connected to local Wi-Fi network.
“Today’s news demonstrates how HP is enabling customers to turn special moments captured on the go into high-quality photos,” said Vyomesh Joshi, executive vice president, Imaging and Printing Group, HP. “More than any other company in the world, HP has re-imagined, re-engineered and re-invented the power of printing with exciting new technologies that address real customer needs.”
Once this application is installed on your device
1. Click on the HP print icon
2. Choose the photo album where your picture is stored
3. Select a photo
4. Select the “Print” option in the lower portion of the screen.
You should now be printing 4″x6″ or 10×15 cm photo from your HP Inkjet printer.
If this is the first time printing to a specific printer, select the desired printer from the list of available printers. You will not be required to complete this step again in order to print additional photos on the same printer.
HP’s new iPrint Photo application for iPhone and iPod touch is available as a free download from Apple’s App Store.
Note : In order to install HP iPrint Photo to your device via a computer, Apple iTunes application must be installed and in use, and your handheld device firmware must be version 2.0 or higher.
