Adblock Plus 1.0 Released | Download
Stumble it!Adblock is an app that allows you to get rid of all the annoying ads and banners on the internet. All you have to do is right click on a banner and choose “Adblock” from the context menu. The next time you visit the site, this banner won’t be downloaded again. It also may replace parts of the banner address with start symbols to block similar banners as well.
Adblock has recently released Adblock Plus version 1.0 with the following changes and improvements
- Format of the filter storage changed so going back to a previous version requires exporting the filters and re-importing them after the downgrade
- Mac OS X: Flash movies might not be displayed properly if “Show tabs on Flash and Java” option is switched on
- Some translations contain untranslated English strings
- New filter composer dialog makes adding filters easier
- New filter options $third-party and $~third-party restrict filters to third-party/first-party requests
