How to turn off your firewall in Vista

There are a few applications that requires you to turn off your Firewall and there are some newbies out there who still haven’t figured out how to turn off your firewall in Vista. It’s actually very simple. You need to follow the steps below and you will get over with it in less than a minute.

Instead of opening the Control Panel and going through the whole process, simply click start and type “Firewall” . Once done it will give you two options,  Windows Firewall with advanced security and  Windows Firewall.

Click the second option “Windows Firewall” and click “Turn Windows Firewall on or off” or click “Change settings”
