How to Send and Track Group messages with Notifu
I came across a very interesting website today that allows you to send SMS and voice messages to anywhere in the world. Notifu is currenly free of cost but in the near future they will have a Free Edition and Pro Edition and some features will require the Pro Edition like sending SMS messages, sending voice messages, etc.
Notifu is a web-based service that will enable you to send group messages in an instant manner, and know if they were received or not. You can even track who all responded and eventually use the replies to make decisions as a group just like a poll system. You can send these messages using e-mail, SMS, Msn, ICQ, AIM and Yahoo IM. The best features I liked in Notifu is when sending a message, you can prompt recipients to choose from a given set of choices that include when and where to meet and concrete information
It really comes in handy when you need to re-schedule a program. After sending a message to everyone you can see exactly who received the message and who did not. This way no one is left behind.
To set priority for an urgent message. Choose the format like this

Messages to the above contact would first be delivered via email, next via Yahoo IM, and finally by Calling. Isn’t that great?

- Fix to add sender’s name to SMS messages so recipient knows who they are from
- Fix to allow for longer user names and to limit the input length appropriately
