Notepad2 is an open-source text editor for Microsoft Window released by Florian Balmer. It features syntax highlighting for computer languages like Assembly, C, C++, C#, CGI, ASP, Java, HTML, JaveScript, Pascal, Perl, PHP, Python, SQL, VB, VBScript, XHTML and XML. It offers syntax highlighting for file formats like BAT, DIFF, INF, INI, REG and configuration files
NotePad2 also features

- Multiple undo/redo; rectangular block selection
