Add Alert sound in Firefox
It’s pretty obvious that most of us would never want to hear those distracting beeps in our browsers. But there are also some people who may prefer a beep whenever they are clicking or when a download fails. Noise is a Firefox add on that make sound responses while events happen. It totally a event driven tool that works by choosing an event, like a click, open tab or download done, and selecting a sound that should be played when the event occurs.
You can specify sound files by:
- String “beep” to play a platform-dependent beep.
- Local wav file, like: “C:\WINDOWS\Media\ding.wav”
- chrome wav file, like: “chrome://global/content”/notfound.wav
This package doesn’t include any sound files, it only make boring “beep”s by default. You can try finding wav files in your system’s built-in media folder, or searching them online. You can set Noise preferences by using the default built-in 20 events

Since this is an experimental add on you won’t be able to download it without logging it to Mozilla official page. Click here to get it now
