Recently, I started having one of the most annoying problem with my Gmail account when using Google Chrome. For some unknown reason it won’t load Gmail in Standard view and I just can’t stand it because I have to check my email every now and then and get things done.

Anyways I have just found a solution to it. To solve Gmail Not Loading Standard View in Chrome problem follow the steps below.

Usually Gmail stucks at this point.

1. Click Tools > Options > Clear Browsing Data

2. When the “Clear Browsing Data” window pops up make sure to check

  • Clear browsing history
  • Empty the Cache
  • Clear Saved data
Select “Everything” from “Clear data from this period” and click Clear Browsing Data.

Try reloading Gmail again and it should solve your problem. It certainly solved mine :)
