Sony Bravia XEL-1 Available in USA now
Sony Bravia XEL-1 has finally available in the US. It is the world’s first OLED TV that is only 3mm thick. It features 960×540 resolution, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 16:9 aspect ratio and support for Dolby Digital (AC3 for ATSC).
Sony’s unique Super Top Emission technology intensifies brightness and efficiency while Sony color filters and a special micro-cavity structure enhance color purity to reproduce as much as 105 percent of the NTSC color space.
The new Sony Bravia also has the ability to completey turn off an organic pixel and when turned on individual organic elements are stimulated directly by electric current and therefore deliver a blazing-fast response time compared to current flat panel displays.
What’s great about Sony Bravia XEL-1 is that it only consumes up to 40 percent less power than a conventional 20 inch LCD panels. Another great feature includes the Screen Tilt Feature, it allows you to tilt it up to 70 degree to accomodate different viewing positions.
The XEL-1 OLED TV has two HDMI inputs, a RF Connection Input and a Memory Stick PRO card slot. It offers 2×1W audio output power. Sony XEL-1 OLED TV is priced at $2,499.99 and is available now.
